--- _-= Per source details. On pip install, the installer fetches and executes whatever bytes that URL returns, including any setup.py / build-backend code inside the tarball. There is no version pin and no hash or integrity check, so whoever controls artifacts.yosiroute.com controls code executed on the installer's machine. The shipped module itself is a two-line stub; the off-registry URL dependency is the package's entire install-time effect. ## Source: kam193 (82ef4d01da7de20aa2e477bb07e1daa97855cdf33d186579da5cf148e3d4be0e) The package uses fake http-downloaded dependencies to track downloads, and has no other purpose. --- Category: PROBABLY_PENTEST - Packages looking like typical pentest packages, but also anything that looks like testing, exploring pre-prepared kits, research & co, with clearly low-harm possibilities. Campaign: 2026-10-vacsdk Reasons (based on the campaign): - dependency-confusion
