Contagious Interview repository that contains malicious vscode tasks.json. This particular repository is impersonating a Cryptocurrency development company based in Hungary. Malcious vscode tasks.json file delivers obfuscated JS malware. In addition a second hidden C2 in the .env file that is base64 encoded C2 URL (ip-checking-notification-j2[.]vercel[.]app[/]api) that steals user environment variables and sends it to attacker controlled infra when the code is executed.
