Advisory PublishedCVSS 5.4/10
Install-time preinstall hook exfiltrates host identity data (hostname, whoami, package marker) to attacker-controlled OAST endpoint via HTTP POST during npm install.
The package defines a preinstall lifecycle command that pipes static and system-identifying values into curl POST requests to pdgwqqdybclsevjdjbibf963wplqs0ro2.oast.fun using query keys echo, hostname, and whoami. This executes automatically on install without user interaction.
