Advisory PublishedCVSS 5.4/10
Author-controlled configuration repository for the PhantomSub WhatsApp channel-following campaign. The malicious Baileys forks noxleys, noxleyss and @noxleyss/baileys fetch their target channel list from this repo, so the author can change which channels victims are subscribed to without publishing a new package version.
Files: noxXza.json and noxleys.json contain lists of WhatsApp @newsletter JIDs. Fetched from raw.githubusercontent.com/noxXza/data/refs/heads/main/noxXza.json by the noxleys package 30 seconds after the WhatsApp connection opens (per Amazon Inspector advisory MAL-2026-13831; URL not independently confirmed in package source). Config last updated 2026-10-08. The repo also holds unrelated HTML pages and a certificate.json base64 blob that was not analyzed.
