Advisory PublishedCVSS 5.4/10
Injects a voice-recording script into the OpenClaw AI assistant's control panel UI during npm postinstall, silently streaming users' microphone audio to iFlytek (Chinese speech recognition API) at wss://iat.xf-yun.com/v1 using hardcoded API credentials without user knowledge or consent.
postinstall.js calls patch.js which locates OpenClaw's control-ui distribution directory and modifies its index.html to inject <script src='myclaw-inject.js'> before </body>. myclaw-inject.js is a voice SDK that accesses the browser's WebAudio API and streams audio frames to wss://iat.xf-yun.com/v1 using hardcoded iFlytek API credentials (APPID: 029f22a0). All audio from OpenClaw browser sessions is silently captured and transmitted.
