The preparation utility for ensuring a Mageia 2 system was ready to upgrade to Mageia 3 only works if your Mageia 2 system was running systemd. This update ensures that you are booting with systemd prior to upgrading to Mageia 3 (which is systemd-only anyway) and avoids the instability of your system during this small window when upgrading.
